Disclaimer for use of the Mini-Edit tools

This program was developed by SubCarrier Systems Corporation (SCSC) for the benefit of persons working with and developing ITS standards and entries for the community data registry programs being developed as part of the cooperative agreement between Dept of Transportation Joint Program Office (DOT-JPO), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and multiple standards setting organizations including:

The American Society for Testing and Materials, International (ASTM),

The American Public Transportation Association (APTA), and others.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE),

The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE),

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA),

The National Transportation Communications for ITS Protocol  (NTCIP) (a Joint effort of ASSHTO, ITE and NEMA)

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE),

And of course, the FHWA JPO Standards Program itself.

Its purpose is to assist data authors and stewards engaged in preparing standards to develop their own committee work. By exchanging properly structured and formatted entries between ITS systems, coordination between all affected users is made easier. Technical support for users of the Mini-Edit program can be obtained here as part of the overall multi-SDO support forums.
