About Mini-Edit   A basic summary of the terms of use. This screen repeats the release version and time data of the startup screen. It also provides direct access to the help manual which you are now reading, as well as the various support functions for Mini-Edit found on the www.ITSstandards.org forum. The Systems Information button is useful in diagnosing complex compatibility issues. Link Button Clicking on this icon will open a browser window and take you to the the Mini-Edit download page. [Top] Help System Clicking on this button will open this help file in a CHM format in its own window.   The initial display will be at the top of the table of contents.   You can also press the F1 key throughout the program to open a more contextually sensitive and relevant section of the help system. [Top] Usage Terms Clicking on this button will open a browser window and display the complete usage text; this document page is saved in your application folder and contains various links to each of the SDOs that use this tool in standards production for ITS.  See also here. [Top] System Info Clicking on this button will open the System Information Dialog window, which displays various settings and information about your computer which can be useful in trouble shooting applications. [Top] ITSstds.com Clicking on this icon will open a browser window and take you to the top page of the www.ITSstandards.org  web site. You can then search the site for your questions or post an inquiry for additional help. Note that most of the standards that use Mini-Edit have a sub-forum here which is moderated by some person closely connected with that standard, hence posting inquiries here is often the fastest way to find the relevant expert in that area.
