Find and Replace Rich Text

This is the Dialog box provided by the find and replace system for the current text entry. The user may use the text string to perform find type operations.

1Find Text

Find Text Text to find.

2Replace Text

Replace Text Text to replace with (not shown for finds).

3Match Controls

Match Controls These controls determine how a string match will be found.
 
Find Whole Word Only - The string must be surrounded with white space; partial sub-strings will not be a match.
Match Case - The case of the target string must match.
Use Pattern Matching - A simple UNIX type pattern match is supported.

4Search Direction

Search Direction The direction for the next search to move in the text field from the currently selected text or insertion point.

5Find Next

Find Next The find button.

6Cancel

Cancel The cancel button; the Dialog is dismissed.

7Replace

Replace The replace button.

8Replace All

Replace All The replace-all button. All strings matching the find string are replaced in the text.
