This Dialog is used to manage the collection of automatic replacement strings. When one of the strings is typed, the associated replacement text will be used. This function is often used to expand rote phrases or cure dyslexic typing, such as the acronyms shown in the screen image. The list of replacement pairs is unique to each user.

Auto Pairs The text pairs currently known by the tool are loaded here. In this screen shot you can see the user has defined three pairs (SAE, DRSC, and J2354). [Top]

Text to Type The trigger text is entered here. [Top]

Text to Replace The replacement text is entered here. Note that this can be rich-text formatted. [Top]

Add Pair The Add button adds the current pair to the user's list of auto-replace pairs. [Top]

Close The Close button closes the Dialog. [Top]

Delete Pair The Delete button removes the current selected pair from the user's list of auto-replace pairs. [Top]

Use Clipboard This button pastes into the text areas from whatever rich text content is on the clipboard. [Top]

hide help This button hides from view the informational label at the bottom of the Dialog by making the window shorter. [Top]
