Delete Record...

When deleting the currently selected record from the current table this Dialog box is displayed to confirm that the user wishes to remove the record.

The Descriptive Name and the ASN Name of the record are provided to allow the user to be sure that this is the record intended.

If the user answers YES the record is removed. If the user answers NO the action is canceled and the record remains.

Note: When a record is deleted it is not destroyed. It is in fact placed into the table called Deleted_Records and its descriptive name is modified to include the time at which it was deleted (e.g. text such as (removed on 6/20/2006 at 10:22:40) is added). If a user determines that they want such a record back, the Table Management Utility can be used to restore it.
