Hint: A good way to quickly launch the Edit-View window for a record is to double click along the left hand side of the data grid for that entry (not in the textual area).
This displays the current accumulated log for the application while the tool is active. The log is cleared each time the tool is first opened, or when it becomes very large (in which case only the older part of removed). The log contains a collection of recorded events and actions over the life of the application. It typically also contains error messages that you may want to go over after processing a batch of records.
The About button displays the About Mini-Edit Dialog window, which has some basic information about the tool as well as some buttons which will take you to both on-line help and to this manual.
This control starts the 1st Word utility, a tool used by standards developing organizations (SDOs) to render final standards documents from the database meeting their own styles and formatting needs. The 1st Word tool is only provided to SDOs at this time.
The Link Table Set allows you to control which other tables are searched for linkage relationships in your data. Pressing the Links button will give a Link Cross-Link report for the current record using the selected tables.
